How to Make a Skype Call

In today's digital age, making voice or video calls over the internet is more convenient than ever. In addition to its many features, Skype also offers a built-in recording feature that makes it easy to capture important conversations. In this article, we will guide you through the process of making a Skype call and recording it using the built-in feature.

To start, open your Skype account on your computer or mobile device. Once connected, click the Plus icon at the bottom right corner and select Start recording to initiate the recording process. This feature is available in Skype's desktop program on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android devices. However, please note that this feature is only accessible in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers when using Skype for the web.

Once you've started recording, you can continue with your call as usual. To stop the recording, hit the Plus icon again and select Stop recording. You and the other participants will receive a notification stating that the call is being recorded. The recorded conversation will be stored in your Skype account and can be accessed within 30 days.

To access the recorded call, click the Play icon to open it in a media player window. Alternatively, you can find the recording stored in the chat window after completing the call. If you want to stop the recording during the call, simply end the call, and the recording will automatically stop.
